Following the damage sustained during Storm Darragh in December, Holyhead Port has partially reopened as of 16th January, with Terminal 5 now available.
Whilst this is great news, and does begin to alleviate the pressure on the Irish Sea market, there are still some ongoing challenges:
- Technical issues at the port caused delays to sailings on Thursday 16th January.
- Amended, temporary sailing schedule in place.
- Restrictions on unaccompanied sailings.
We understand that the port is expected to be fully functional by March.
In the meantime, we continue to work hard to minimise impact to our customers, utilising alternative ports where possible and communicating in the event of delays.
We thank you for your patience and continued custom.
