As you may already be aware, Holyhead Port will remain closed until at least 15th January following the collapse of 2 ferry berths.
Over the last 10 days we have been working hard to adapt to the situation and to minimise its impact on our customers, but some delays have of course been inevitable. We now await further update from the ferry lines regarding additional routes from other ports, which will allow us to assess our management of the situation until the port reopens.
Thank you once more for your patience with our teams, who are committed to achieving the best possible outcome for you.
This will be our last blanket update until anything materially changes, but your Countrywide Freight Group depot and usual contacts will keep you updated on the status of your specific consignments.
In the meantime, we wish you a very Happy Christmas and New Year and thank you for your business in 2024.
