Delivering Joy

Our team at Gateshead have been getting involved with Dunelm’s ‘Delivering Joy’ campaign this Christmas.

Shoppers at Dunelm Team Valley – and nationally - have been choosing tags from trees specially placed in their stores, buying or making a gift for the person they’ve picked, and then bringing their gifts back to store for recipients in the local community.

On Saturday, our driver Gordon Turnbull (a.k.a. Santa!), pictured here, collected over 150 gifts from Dunelm and delivered them to the Kibblesworth Workmen’s Club for onward delivery in time for Christmas. Countrywide Freight and Kibblesworth Workmen’s Club have also donated cash to support the local homeless community.

We think our truck makes a great sleigh and we’re proud of Gordon and all the team at the Gateshead depot for supporting such a wonderful cause this Christmas!
